Record-breaker Barry backed for man of the match

A gamble has developed on Gareth Barry breaking the Premier League all-time appearance record in style by being named as man-of-the-match in Monday's clash against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Veteran midfielder Barry, who opened up at 25-1, has been slashed to as low as 10-1 with some firms and a best-priced 12-1 with Hills to claim the award from broadcasters Sky Sports.

Albion are 10-1 to win at Arsenal in what will be Barry's 633rd Premier League appearances, while the Gunners 1-3 favourites.
