Big-spending Salford are hot favourites to follow up promotion from the National League North by winning the National League title but they may not have everything their own way and look worth opposing in their televised opener against Leyton Orient.

With new manager Graham Alexander and several new players on board, Salford may need time to reach their potential.

They will suffer a few setbacks along the way and the match against Orient, one of the biggest clubs outside the EFL, is a tough first game for them.

Justin Edinburgh has had his first full summer to work with the Orient players and they can secure at least a point.
