Hibernian enjoyed an excellent top-three campaign last season and they will be hoping for more of the same this term.

The Hibees had a pretty quiet summer in terms of transfer activity, but it was probably more important that the Easter Road side held on to their two prize assets, Kevin Nisbet and Martin Boyle.

The forwards scored 26 of the 48 league goals that Jack Ross’s side notched last season.

Motherwell shipped 55 league goals last term and although they topped their League Cup group, they conceded twice against Championship side Queen of the South and were fortunate to beat League One outfit Queen’s Park.

There are still question marks about Motherwell at the back and Boyle looks a good each-way bet to open the scoring at Fir Park on Sunday.
