BT Sport Extra, 7.45pm Tuesday

Sporting have acquitted themselves well in a tough group but their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages are likely to disappear with a loss to Juventus in Lisbon.

The Portuguese side suffered narrow defeats at home to Barcelona (1-0) and away to Juve (2-1) and need a victory over the Serie A champions to get back into contention.

Juve’s campaign got off to a poor start with a 3-0 loss away to Barcelona and they have not looked at their best in home victories over Olympiakos (2-0) and Sporting.

However, the Italians came on strong in the second half against Sporting and merited the result after winning the shot count 17-4.

Juve are slowly working their way into the tournament and it should suit them that the onus is on Sporting to throw men forward and push for the victory.
