Defences could be on top at Goodison

Just three games into the season and Everton's match with Tottenham feels like an important one.

Both have posted just one victory and will be looking at the Goodison Park contest as one they need to win to get back on track.

However, it might not be a particularly free-flowing contest as Everton look short of quality up front and Spurs perhaps short of confidence after a 1-1 draw with Burnley.

A tight match is on the cards with defences on top.
