Strong performances from India's old guard saw them level their one-day international series with Australia in Adelaide and an experienced head can star in the decisive ODI in Melbourne.

Virat Kohli blew Australia's bowling attack away by registering 104 before MS Dhoni's unbeaten half-century saw the Men in Blue over the line.

India are a general 4-7 to wrap up the series and, in doing so, leave Aussie shores unbeaten in series across all formats.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of India's bowlers with figures of 4-45 last time out but Ravindra Jadeja looks value to do damage in the third ODI.

Jadeja's wicket total has been ticking over in India's meetings with Australia, with the 30-year-old registering one dismissal in each ODI and taking seven wickets across the third and fourth Test matches.

Five of those came at the MCG, where he had figures of 2-45 and 3-82 and, upon returning to a ground where seamers have been struggling for wickets, he could prove to be India's fiercest threat with the ball.

Recommendation
Ravindra Jadeja top India bowler
1pt 9-2 general
