Durham's five-match winning streak in the T20 Blast came to an end against North Group leaders Worcestershire last time out but the Jets look value to bounce back against Lancashire.

They appeared to be on course for a sixth straight success before Ross Whiteley’s brutal innings of 60 off 26 balls saw Worcestershire home to a stiff target of 195.

Before that, however, Durham had posted convincing wins over the table-topping Rapids and holders Nottinghamshire, also bowling out Northamptonshire for just 95.

Lancashire made a fast start to their Blast campaign but their progress has been hampered by two defeats and a no result in their last three outings, as well as a thumb injury to inspirational skipper Liam Livingstone.

In the non-televised Blast contest, Glamorgan, who have won their last three matches, face an Essex side on a three-game losing streak and it may well go to form.

Glamorgan eked out a two-run win over Gloucestershire in their last home game, between a couple of hugely impressive away performances.

They chased down 195 to beat in-form Surrey at The Oval and reduced Middlesex to 39-6 on their way to a seven-wicket win at Richmond on Sunday.

Australia batsmen Joe Burns and Usman Khawaja are unavailable for Glamorgan but youngster Kiran Carlson is in cracking form and Colin Ingram returned from illness with an unbeaten 46 against Middlesex.

Essex were thrashed by Somerset, who reached a target of 136 without losing a wicket and with 8.4 overs to spare. They were not much better in Sunday’s five-wicket defeat to Surrey.
