Remember Prizefighter? Well, four years after Eddie Hearn rang the final bell on his eight-man boxing tournaments the format has been resurrected under the banner of Ultimate Boxxer, and an octet of UK cruiserweights are ready to battle it out at the Altrincham Ice Arena on Friday for a share of the £50,000 prize pot.

It's been described as "Prizefighter for YouTubers" by boxing pundit Steve Bunce, and despite the low-key profiles of the combatants it should be an entertaining evening as the fighters look to shine in front of the TV cameras.

One name many fans may recognise is Tony Conquest, but the veteran former Commonwealth champion is a 13-8 underdog for his quarter-final against 21 year-old Rhasian Earlington.

A strong contender for the title is Mikael Lawal, who has a 9-0 (six KOs) record as a pro and is as short as 1-25 to win his opener against two-fight novice Antony Woolery.

Quarter-final draw
QF1 Damian Chambers v Matt Sen
QF2 Mikael Lawal v Antony Woolery
QF3 Dan Cooper v David Jamieson
QF4 Tony Conquest v Rhasian Earlington
