Anthony Joshua is aiming to fight the winner of the December bout between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury but if the betting is correct it will be Dillian Whyte who is next in line for the IBF, WBO and WBA champion.

Joshua, who stopped Russian Alexander Povetkin in the seventh round at Wembley, has already booked the venue again for April and it's 15-8 with Ladbrokes to be against Whyte.

A blockbuster against Wilder is a 9-4 shot with an all-British bout with Fury rated at 3-1. One issue could be a potential rematch for Wilder should Fury come out on top in December.

Joshua was in trouble early on against Povetkin but finished the fight with a flurry of powerful punches to successfully retain his world titles which landed a 7-2 winner for Racing Post Sport's Dan Williams, who correctly predicted a victory for the Brit in rounds seven to nine.

AJ had been only 1-8 to win the bout and justified odds of 2-7 to become the first fighter to stop Povetkin. A seventh-round success for Joshua had been available at 11-1.
