Fight preview

Scottish super-lightweight world champion Josh Taylor returns to the ring for the first time in 11 months on Saturday and he is expected to retain his WBA and IBF titles without too many problems against 12-1 underdog Thailand's Apinun Khongsong.

Both men are undefeated but the challenger has never performed outside of south-east Asia before and he has been operating at a level well below Taylor, who has been taking on the cream of the division over the last couple of years.

Khongsong has a decent KO ratio - 13 of his 16 wins have been by stoppage - but his defence will be tested by Taylor from the first bell and if he is too aggressive he could walk on to a big shot.

It would be a surprise if the contest lasted beyond the halfway mark so back under 7.5 rounds total rounds.
