Match preview

Bournemouth showed their powers of recovery at home to Reading on Saturday – coming from 2-0 down at half-time to win 4-2 – and should be full of confidence as they prepare to take on struggling Nottingham Forest at the Vitality Stadium.

Earlier in the season it seemed that the Cherries were still finding their feet after the intense disappointment of relegation.

But Bournemouth had an excellent transfer window, keeping the majority of their key players, and are starting to show their class.

Offensively they look immensely strong with Arnaut Danjuma, Dominic Solanke and David Brooks all capable of making a massive impact.

Nottingham Forest will have their hands full and could struggle to keep a clean sheet.

Chris Hughton is an excellent, tactically astute manager, who should steer Forest away from the danger zone but it is early days in his tenure and the trip to Bournemouth is as tough as anything his team will face this season.

Key stat

Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last seven home matches
