Eurosport 2 from 3.30pm Wednesday

Egypt v DR Congo

9pm

Egypt delighted a large home crowd by defeating Zimbabwe 1-0 in their Group A opener and should make it two wins from two against DR Congo.

Mohamed Salah failed to score against Zimbabwe but looked lively enough and he may get more space to shine against DR Congo, who are playing catch-up after a 2-0 loss to Uganda.

DR Congo are the section's second seeds but were largely outplayed by Uganda, who won the shot count 13-11.

They face another defeat against Egypt, who are likely to get better as the tournament progresses.

Recommendation
Egypt and under 3.5 goals
1pt 19-20 Betway

Key stat
Egypt have won seven of their last nine games.

Uganda v Zimbabwe

6pm

Uganda got off to a flying start, defeating DR Congo 2-0, and look worthy favourites to defeat Zimbabwe.

Going into the tournament it was hard to judge Uganda, who had come through a soft qualifying section, but there was nothing fortunate about their victory over DR Congo, who were quarter-finalists in 2017.

Another three points are achievable against Zimbabwe, who lacked a cutting edge when losing 1-0 to hosts Egypt in their opener.

Recommendation
Uganda
1pt 6-4 Betway, RedZone

Key stat
Zimbabwe have not won any of their last five matches.

Nigeria v Guinea

3.30pm

Guinea were disappointed to draw 2-2 with unfancied Madagascar on Saturday but they can rise to a much tougher challenge when taking on Nigeria in Alexandria.

Three-time winners Nigeria are among the tournament favourites but were far from convincing when opening with a 1-0 victory over Burundi.

Odion Ighalo came off the bench to grab the winner for Nigeria in a match which finished with the shot count level at 15-15.

They may not be as fortunate against Guinea, who are undefeated in their last seven competitive games.

Recommendation
Guinea or draw double chance
1pt 21-20 bet365

Key stat
Nigeria have scored more than one goal in just one of their last seven fixtures.
