Calm before the Saturday storm as Purton aims to reel in record-breaker Moreira

Saturday is one of the busiest days of the year for racing professionals, but it's a little quieter today with low-key meetings at Catterick, Lingfield, Yarmouth, Kempton and Bath.

However, history could be made further afield at Happy Valley as Zac Purton aims to beat the Joao Moreira's Hong Kong record of 170 winners in a season.

Purton, who has had a wonderful campaign, is six winners adrift, but has nine rides on the card and also has the chance to add to his haul in the season closer at Sha Tin on Sunday.
