It is here you get to see where the power is being built, the forming of new alliances – or the re-emergence of old ones – and the hustling of those wanting to advance. Win in the ring, win on the course, as the old saying goes.
There were huge sums of money spent on embryonic racehorses at Tattersalls, with the sales ground notably busy last Wednesday.
