Didn’t show much when just 15-2 for his Kempton debut, but the son of Pinatubo posted a much improved effort when stepped up to a mile at Lingfield last month.
He was forgotten about in the market for that second run and odds of 200-1 won’t be available this time, but his performance indicated why there was some support for him ahead of his debut.
He has more upside than those who are likely to feature at the head of the market (Goodwood Mogul and Canopus) and he should represent some value against Return To Unit, who will probably go off a shorter price coming from a big Newmarket yard.
