The highly unusual circumstances of her subsequent disqualification throw no shade at all on the merit of Police Academy's Uttoxeter mares' chase win, one gained off today's unchanged mark in a higher-banded Class 4. With Shadows In The Sky and Taxus Baccata still to win above Class 5, Enjoy d'Allen yet to revive for current connections and Catchim 4lb wrong (though still probably just about next best), compensation for the Fergal O'Brien mare surely awaits.

Woodrafff is 4lb higher than when winning over C&D 17 days ago, but he was nicely on top at the finish and he can record his third win of the year. Ring Of Gold, Coramento, One More Bottle and Filey Beach all come here with something to recommend them, while Sold Out still has a bigger effort in him.
