Dual-purpose sort can thrive as his stamina is drawn out

Red Force One
3.00 Ascot
Buy at 12 on the index
The Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Handicap is a competitive event in which plenty are unexposed at the trip and going the right way over shorter.
Favourite Australis has proved himself at the trip, having been second in the Northumberland Plate last time. Northumberland Vase winner Mondain is also in the field. The one runner in the field that did win a big handicap last time is actually running off a 2lb lower mark than when last seen on the Flat.
Red Force One ran at Thirsk in June, over 1m4f, and stayed on having been quite poorly placed as things wound up. That run was probably something of a sighter, as he won the Summer Handicap Hurdle at Market Rasen on his next run.
Red Force One has never run further than 1m4f on the Flat, unless you count jumpers' bumpers. He stays two miles well over timber, stamina was what marked his performance last time, as well as the ability to travel that would be expected from a fairly useful Flat handicapper.
Red Force One was dropped 2lb for Thirsk and now gets a chance over staying trips on the level. His mark of 87 probably underestimates him and, even if one bound for top handicaps gets in the way, he is not an expensive buy on the index and second place would ensure a solid profit.
