Kiki Bertens defeated Ajla Tomljanovic in the final of the Seoul Open on Sunday, recording her 16th win since the beginning of August, and is on the cusp of reaching the WTA's top ten for the first time.

However fatigue could soon prove to be an issue for the in-form Dutchwoman, who has been handed a tricky Wuhan Open first-round match against Belinda Bencic, who is a former top-ten player.

Bencic has had a tough time over the last couple of seasons with various injury problems but the Swiss finally appears to be getting a clear run and is a dangerous opponent if she starts to find peak form.

While Garbine Muguruza beat Bencic in Tokyo last week, the 21-year-old has form in China, making the final of the Tianjin Open in 2014 and picking up two 125K Series titles in Thailand and Taiwan in November last year.

Bertens is obviously a deserving favourite but just 48 hours will have passed since the 26-year-old landed her seventh WTA title and Bencic looks capable of taking advantage if her opponent is anything other than 100 per cent focused.

There has been money for Bencic to win the match but, with Bertens in such red-hot form, the safer option could be to back the outsider to take at least a set.

Recommendation
B Bencic to win at least a set
