Juventus had to battle all the way to the line to win their seventh consecutive Serie A crown last season but the Old Lady could be out of sight before long as they hunt an eighth straight Scudetto.

Eyebrows were raised when they splashed the cash on Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer but the super-fit 33-year-old has contributed 11 goals to help the buzzing Bianconeri to 15 wins from 16 matches - they are no bigger than 1-12 to take the title.

Napoli are enjoying another fine season under Carlo Ancelotti but they are eight points off the pace and, with Inter a further six away, appear to be the only team with even a remote chance of catching Juve.
