Two Betfred Super League matches remain on Friday evening after Challenge Cup winners St Helens called off their scheduled clash with Hull KR on Wednesday.
Leeds have been on the end of back-to-back defeats at the hands of league leaders Catalans in the last two weeks, but the Rhinos can return to winning ways when they welcome Salford to Headingley.
Richard Agar's Rhinos were 38-12 victors at Salford only a month ago and despite their losses to the Dragons there have been signs that Leeds are on the right track.
Challenging for a first Super League crown since 2017 may be beyond them this season, but a new generation of Rhinos are beginning to emerge and they have arguably their strongest pack in many a year.
Salford travel across the Pennines buoyed by consecutive wins, but one of those was against a severely weakened Castleford side who had their focus firmly on the cup final and a Wakefield side who weren't at their best last week.
Leeds represent a step up in class for the Red Devils and having gone into half-time with a decent lead in both of their recent clashes with Catalans, the Rhinos may ensure they don't let their dominance slip in the second half this time around.
Friday's other contest pits Wigan against Wakefield at the DW Stadium.
Trinity beat the Warriors when they met in Yorkshire last month but bookmakers believe Adrian Lam's side will make amends and have tasked them with overturning a 14-point handicap line.
