Team news

Watford
Watford do not have any fresh injury concerns but Gerard Deulofeu, Daryl Janmaat and Isaac Success are long-term absentees.

Norwich
Daniel Farke is likely to recall Teemu Pukki but Todd Cantwell is still sidelined. Christoph Zimmermann, Sam Byram, Grant Hanley and Moritz Leitner are also out.

Match preview

Watford are battling for their Premier League survival but have been presented with a golden chance to steer clear of the bottom three when they host relegation-bound Norwich at Vicarage Road on Tuesday.

The Hornets are just one point clear of the drop with five matches to play but will be aware that this fixture offers a huge opportunity for them to establish some much-needed breathing space over their rivals.

However, Nigel Pearson's men have been in poor form since the resumption of the Premier League, picking up just one point from four matches and losing their last three, so punters must weigh up whether or not to take short odds about the hosts.

Norwich, meanwhile, are in dire straits. The travelling Canaries are seven points adrift of their opponents and have lost all four of their matches since the restart, failing to score in any of them.

For all the early-season talk of their attractive style of football, Daniel Farke's men simply haven't delivered the goods in attack, particularly away from home, where they have scored just six goals.

Teemu Pukki, expected to return after he was benched at the weekend, has not netted from open play since December and his team have mustered just five shots on target in their last four Premier League matches.

Watford have won just once since January - an unlikely 3-0 demolishing of Liverpool - and make little appeal at the prices despite being the right favourites. Given Norwich's striking woes, backing a drab affair could be the best option.

Key stat

Norwich have failed to score in four matches since the Premier League returned last month.
