What’s your best bet for the weekend?
Bournemouth to beat Huddersfield. After losing their first four games Bournemouth have bounced back really well and away wins at Stoke and Newcastle are really creditable efforts.

Huddersfield have failed to find the net in their last five away games in all competitions and while they look solid enough at home, they are well worth taking on when they travel.

Which favourites look the most vulnerable?
Manchester United are far too short at home to Newcastle. If Paul Pogba is fully fit and starts, the Reds are a different proposition. They are a much better team with him.

But that doesn’t look certain and United seem short of ideas at the moment. Playing without the ball is one thing but they need to show they can play with it.

Will Arsenal or Tottenham finish higher in the table?
Spurs will finish higher, though I quite fancy Arsenal to win this game. That’s what is so frustrating about Arsene Wenger.

Tactically he did a pretty decent job at Manchester City, restricting them to far fewer chances than they normally get. And he did an even better job at Chelsea in a 0-0 draw. But they are liable to throw in some shockers.

Is David Moyes a good appointment for West Ham?
David Moyes’ appointment hasn’t gone down well with Hammers’ fans, but I think it’s a decent fit. What Moyes achieved in a decade at Everton looks better each month, and judging the Scot on his time at Old Trafford misses the point.

Whoever succeeded Sir Alex would probably have struggled. His work ethic and organisation are what West Ham need.

Which players enhanced their claims for an England World Cup finals place last week?
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is the obvious one, though I think Tammy Abraham is well worth another look. If he can score a few goals for Swansea between now and the next internationals, he has got a chance. Beyond Kane, Vardy and Rashford, England aren’t flush with forwards and Abraham is awkward. He’d be a classic wildcard pick.

Give us a Champions League winner for match day five
Liverpool at Sevilla. Jurgen Klopp is getting his players back and they continue to score at an amazing rate.

Against a Sevilla side who were hit for five by Spartak Moscow, I fancy Liverpool to take them to the cleaners. It’s not in Klopp’s DNA to go to Spain and play for a timid draw. Liverpool can get the job done this week.
