Wild Card Weekend rolls on as Sunday's action kicks off with an all-AFC East showdown between the Dolphins and Bills.

Unfortunately Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has already been ruled out with a concussion and back-up Teddy Bridgewater is nursing a finger injury, so Miami’s hopes of advancing are likely to fall on third-choice QB Skylar Thompson.

Thompson has put in some fine play but he is unlikely to be any sort of match for this Buffalo team.

The Bills have been rolling through teams all season long, and for Thompson to have to go into Buffalo in front of a raucous crowd in the biggest game of his life, it’s hard to see him being comfortable.

Buffalo’s defence has been hot throughout the season and will be relishing the chance to give this QB all he can handle.

Thompson has posted just one touchdown in 105 pass attempts, while also logging three interceptions. That just won’t cut it in the NFL and this could turn into a rout fairly quickly.

Miami are also dealing with injuries to their defence, which should open the door for a big game from quarterback Josh Allen. The signal-caller has been hitting top form at the right time and should continue to build on that.

The Bills scored 32 points against the Dolphins when they met a few weeks ago and have posted 35 points in their last two games. Expect Buffalo to cover the spread.
