The Las Vegas Raiders have been a great story so far this season.

They’re 3-0 and on the surface it looks like they have beaten some quality opponents. The thing is, things aren’t always as they seem.

The Week One win over the Baltimore Ravens was legit, but Baltimore are a flawed team - as last week’s near-loss to the Detroit Lions showed.

The win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week Two doesn’t look nearly as impressive after watching them get pumped by the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. And last week’s overtime win over a crippled Miami Dolphins team leads us to ask the question: “Is the Raiders’ defence terrible or just not good?”

They’re a top-ten unit against the run (DVOA), but watching Jacoby Brissett move the ball up and down the field against them raises red flags.

One huge problem for Las Vegas is the fact that the Chargers can score the ball almost at will. They hung 20 points on the Washington Football Team in Week One and it should have been more. Against the Dallas Cowboys they seemingly had 12 touchdowns called back because of penalty.

Last week they dropped 30 on the Kansas City Chiefs, which is about what I would expect out of them moving forward. Mike Williams is an absolute star in this league and with Keenan Allen running routes, he will get his fair share of one-on-one looks.

The Chargers can pull away late and stay there to hand the Raiders their first loss of the season.
