Detroit were flattered by their eight-point loss to San Francisco last week and could feel the full force of the Packers when they head to Green Bay.

For all the good Jared Goff and the offense did in that game against the 49ers, where they came back from a 38-10 deficit to only lose 41-33, it’s important to remember it was done in garbage time.

Their run game actually looked solid in the early going, but they soon had to abandon it in favour of the pass game when things started going out of control. They ended up throwing the ball 57 times which is a recipe for disaster when your quarterback is Jared Goff.

As for the Packers, quarterback Aaron Rodgers had an awful game against last week as Green Bay were annihilated 38-3 by the Saints. Three turnovers hurt the Packers offense, but not being able to run the ball arguably caused even more damage.

All things considered, 11 points is a lot to lay for a team that just got blown out but this might actually be a good buy-low spot.

The Saints could be just as hot as they were last year with a vicious run defence, while the Lions arguably have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

That opens the door for Packers running back Aaron Jones to have his way with them, and combined with an angry Rodgers, Green Bay should win this comfortably.
