Something has to give in Sunday night's big NFC East showdown as the NFL's only unbeaten team, Philadelphia, take on Dallas, who have won all four of their games since back-up quarterback Cooper Rush took over from injured starter Dak Prescott.

The smart move could be to side with the Eagles. Rush has far exceeded what anyone might have expected of him, especially as the Cowboys were dealing with a host of wide receiver injuries at the time that he was forced into the fray.

But the defences he has faced so far this season have not been the league's elite units and he could find this a tough test on the road in extremely hostile surroundings.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and the Philly offence won't have it easy either, although Dallas's star pass-rusher Micah Parsons could be slowed by an injury.

The Eagles are a difficult offence for defences to deal with as they can't allocate an extra run defender to account for Hurts' potential as a rusher given their weapons at wide receiver in DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown.

Philly’s defence can come to the fore while Hurts continues to emerge as a player with far more potential than many gave him credit for at the start of his career.
