The final leg of the Thanksgiving Day feast is by far the most interesting game and the Saints are worth an interest as handicap underdogs to at least make a game of it against the Bills.

New Orleans’ season has not gone well since QB Jameis Winston got injured, and they’ve lost three games in a row to the Falcons, Titans and Eagles.

Things have taken a turn for the worse for the Bills too. They had looked an elite outfit and contenders for the AFC title earlier in the season but they were absolutely routed by the Colts on Sunday.

Two weeks earlier they suffered a huge upset when losing 9-6 to the Jaguars in a game for which they had been 14-point favourites. They thumped the Jets in between those games, but that doesn't count for much.

The Bills have problems on their offensive line, and their run defence is struggling. Home advantage hasn't been worth so much in the NFL this year, but a home night game at the Superdome should create an atmosphere where the crowd can help.

This handicap is just too big for the Bills on the road against a strong Saints defence. New Orleans have been badly affected by injuries but they make sense as a home underdog in this game.
