Tottenham rescued a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield with Harry Kane equalising from the penalty spot with virtually the last kick of a pulsating encounter to bag his 100th Premier League goal.

Mohamed Salah looked to have won it for Liverpool thanks to a wonderful individual effort, only for Kane to make amends for missing an earlier penalty on 87 minutes.

Salah also opened the scoring early on to notch his 20th goal of the league campaign – a 100-1 shot with Sky Bet before the season started – but Victor Wanyama’s thunderbolt with ten minutes remaining put Spurs level to set up the grandstand finish.

Wanyama’s long-range screamer is 9-2 with Betway to be named as the goal of the season but the main aim for Spurs and Liverpool will be to finish in the Champions League positions.

Liverpool, who remain third, are 1-4 to finish in the top four this term with fifth-placed Tottenham, two points back on Jurgen Klopp’s men, 10-11 to do likewise.

The Merseysiders are also 3-1 with bet365 in their betting without Premier League leaders Manchester City, while Spurs are 14-1 in a market headed by 4-6 shots Manchester United.

In the Golden Boot betting 22-goal Kane is 4-11 with Betfred and 21-goal Salah is 3-1.

Crystal Palace and Newcastle edged themselves further away from relegation trouble with a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park. Mo Diame put Newcastle ahead but Palace grabbed a deserved draw via a Luka Milivojevic penalty.
