Betway have suspended betting in the next Arsenal manager market as former Gunners skipper Mikel Arteta has emerged as the odds-on favourite for the job.
The Spaniard is as short as 1-4 with some firms after being cut to
2-5 from a general 14-1 on Monday and looks highly likely to succeed Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
Arteta has been Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City since 2016 after leaving the north London outfit as a player in the same year.
The news comes after Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis announced he was after a candidate who could fit a head coach role at the club.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was as short as 5-2 with some bookmakers on Monday but has drifted out to 10-1 to take the reins at Arsenal, while Juventus boss Max Allegri is a 17-2.
Marco Silva is the odds-on 4-9 favourite with Paddy Power to become the new Everton manager after it was reported Sam Allardyce will be leaving the club.
Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca is second favourite for the position at 9-2, while Louis Van Gaal is a 15-2 chance.
Fonseca is 9-4 with Hills to be West Ham's next manager, while Manuel Pellegrini is the 2-1 favourite.
It has been reported that David Moyes is set to quit the Hammers' hotseat after fulfilling his brief by steering them to top flight safety.
