Kick-offs from 7.45pm Wednesday

Five short-priced favourites add up to a 7-5 accumulator that looks sure to tempt punters on a night when five Premier League big guns are in League Cup action.

Four of them take on Sky Bet Football League opponents while Manchester City go to West Brom but are still no bigger than 2-5 to secure victory.

Bet365 offer the best price at combined odds between 7-5 and 6-4, and spokesman Steve Freeth said: “The fivefold is tickling plenty of people’s fancies.

“Of the quintet it feels like Everton could be the most vulnerable and there was early money for West Brom against City but that has dried up with the free-scoring Citizens shortening.”

“Arsenal, United and Chelsea continue to attract attention despite the short odds.”

So is the Wednesday night acca a five-star good thing, or is there a banana skin in there waiting to trip up punters?

Arsenal v Doncaster
Arsenal have a deep squad and are highly unlikely to be unsettled by Sky Bet League One outfit Doncaster, who haven’t won in six games.
Banana skin rating *

Chelsea v Nottingham Forest
Antonio Conte is set to make changes with bigger games to come. The Blues should progress but Forest, conquerors of Newcastle in the last round, are not complete no-hopers.
Banana skin rating **

Everton v Sunderland
Everton have ground to make up in the Premier League and Europe and are unlikely to give the League Cup their full focus but they should be too strong for struggling Sunderland.
Banana skin rating **

Manchester United v Burton
Jose Mourinho has won the League Cup four times in seven attempts and is taking no chances for the match with Burton. Expect an easy win for the Premier League giants.
Banana skin rating *

West Brom v Manchester City
City laboured to a 2-1 win at Swansea in the third round last season and could be tested by West Brom, who made just four changes for their 3-1 win at Accrington last month.
