Where in the world is it and what tier of football?
St Kitts and Nevis is an island nation in the West Indies. The St Kitts and Nevis Premier League is known as the SKNFA National Bank Premier League, previously the SKNFA Digicel Super League.
It's the top tier of football in St Kitts, created in 1980 and overseen by the St Kitts and Nevis Football Association.
It currently has 12 clubs with the season running from September to May.
In the Regular Stage, each club plays the others home and away and the top six teams qualify for the Super 6 stage. The qualified teams play each other once and the top two teams from Super 6 play a three-legged championship playoff to determine the champions.
The team who finish bottom in the Regular Stage are normally relegated to Saint Kitts and Nevis Division 1, from which another club are promoted.
However, the FA decided in October 2018 to cancel the planned Super 6 stage and no champions were declared last season. Conaree United were deducted 24 points for failing to conduct itself properly - in particular the control of its players, and adherence to the principles of “Fair Play” in SKNFA matches - but won them back on appeal.
No teams were relegated with the league expanded to 12 teams.
