Match preview

West Ham have made a flying start to the new season and the Hammers may continue their free-scoring ways against London rivals Crystal Palace.

David Moyes's men are top after two matches following impressive victories over Newcastle and Leicester, scoring four goals in both games. It could be a similar outcome against Palace, who are still getting to grips with the methods of new boss Patrick Vieira as he attempts to implement a more attractive style.

Jarrod Bowen, Tomas Soucek and Said Benrahma have all caught the eye for the Hammers, while three-goal Michail Antonio has started the campaign in deadly fashion.

The Eagles, who also lost 1-0 to Watford in the EFL Cup in midweek, are struggling in the final third and have averaged an expected-goals figure of just 0.48 per game in their two league matches with key man Wilfried Zaha yet to sparkle.
