Gambles on Patrick Vieira and Brendan Rodgers to take over at Arsenal
Arsene Wenger to leave Emirates at end of the season
Arsene Wenger has announced he will leave Arsenal at the end of the season, ending a near 22-year association with the Premier League giants.
Attention has quickly turned to who will replace the Frenchman at the Emirates, and former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira leads the betting after a big gamble on the New York City FC head coach.
Vieira is 5-1 having been 20-1 just hours earlier and Brendan Rodgers has also been a springer in the market with bet365 and Betway among the firms to report interest in the Celtic coach. He opened up at 12-1 but is alongside Vieira at the head of the market.
Former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel is another strong runner, despite reports that he fell out with Arsenal's new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat during their time together at Dortmund.
Tuchel, who has also been strongly linked with the Paris St-Germain post, is 6-1, while Carlo Ancelotti, out of work since being fired by Bayern Munich, was 5-1 earlier in the day but has drifted to 10-1 to head to north London.

Others prominent in the market to replace Wenger are Germany national team boss Joachim Low (8-1) and Juventus's Max Allegri (10-1).
Wenger, 68, won three Premier League titles, including the Invincibles of 2004 and seven FA Cups, told Arsenal's official website: "After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season.
"I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years. I managed the club with full commitment and integrity.
"I want to thank the staff, the players, the directors and the fans who make this club so special.
"I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high. To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club. My love and support for ever."
