Maccabi Haifa v Juventus

BT Sport 1, 5.45pm Tuesday
Best bet
Juventus
2pts 4-5 general
Match preview
Juventus’ start to the new campaign has gone from bad to worse as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Milan at the weekend, meaning their 3-1 win against Maccabi Haifa last week is one of just four victories in their opening 12 matches in all competitions.
This return fixture is a must win for the Old Lady if they want to progress to the knockout stage, especially given the form of the other two teams in the group, Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica.
The home side were beaten 1-0 on Saturday after being reduced to ten men for much of the match and have looked out of their depth at times in this Champions League group, conceding eight times in three matches.
Despite their poor form, Juve should have more than enough to get the better of their opponents and give themselves a chance of reaching the knockout stage.
Borussia Dortmund v Sevilla
Where to watch
BT Sport 7, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Borussia Dortmund to win & both teams to score
1pt 21-10 bet365
Match preview
Borussia Dortmund were comfortable 4-1 winners over Sevilla last week, a result that led to the sacking of Julen Lopetegui as manager of the Spanish side.
The visitors re-hired Jorge Sampaoli in the days following and he picked up a 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao in his first game back in charge.
Dortmund followed up their European win with a 2-2 draw in Der Klassiker thanks to a 94th-minute Anthony Modeste equaliser to secure a comeback from 2-0 down against Bayern Munich.
BVB have won four of their six home games in all competitions and can continue that good run with another victory over their Group G rivals.
However, the German side have kept just one clean sheet in their last six matches and both teams are fancied to find the net in a Dortmund win.
Dinamo Zagreb v RB Salzburg
Where to watch
BT Sport 8, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Draw
1pt 12-5 Betfred
Match preview
A late disallowed goal prevented Dinamo Zagreb from taking a point from their clash with Salzburg last week after Noah Okafor’s penalty had handed the advantage to the Austrian side.
The Croatian side will be looking to win back-to-back home games in the Champions League for the first time after they picked up a victory in the first group-stage game against Chelsea.
Salzburg were made to work for their three points last week and should expect an even tougher battle away from home. They beat Altach 3-2 in the Austrian Bundesliga on Saturday while Zagreb will be fresh after their match was postponed.
We should see a battling performance from the hosts and they can so enough to claim a draw. Salzburg have already endured a stalemate in two of their three group games and with a tough trip to Croatia on the cards, may have to settle for another.
Paris Saint-Germain v Benfica
Where to watch
BT Sport 4 & 5, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Neymar to score at any time
2pts 11-8 bet365
Match preview
A signature Lionel Messi strike gave Paris Saint-Germain the lead against Benfica last week but they may be without the Argentinian in the return fixture after he missed PSG’s 0-0 draw with Reims at the weekend with a calf injury.
That made it back-to-back draws for the French side after they were pinned back by Benfica last week, meaning the pair are both on seven points from three games, four clear of Juventus.
In Messi’s absence, Neymar may take centre stage and looks a solid bet to get on the scoresheet.
The Brazilian has nine goals in 13 matches in all competitions this season, to go along with his nine assists, and the 11-8 on offer about him to score at any time looks generous given he is odds-on with other bookmakers.
Shakhtar Donetsk v Real Madrid
Where to watch
BT Sport 6, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Mykhailo Mudryk to score or assist
1pt 13-5 Betfair, Paddy Power
Match preview
Real Madrid were made to work hard for their 2-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk last week and haven’t been at their best in recent games, picking up a 1-1 draw with Osasuna and a 1-0 victory over Getafe over the last two weekends.
Oleksandr Zubkov’s 39th-minute goal in Madrid means that the Ukrainian side have scored in all but one of their eight games this season.
Particularly impressive for Shakhtar has been left-winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who has put himself on the radar of Europe’s biggest clubs with his performances.
The 21-year-old has registered eight goals or assists in seven matches this season and is key to his side’s attacking exploits.
The 13-5 about Mudryk either scoring or registering an assist is of interest, particularly given that Real will be without first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for this encounter.
