Carabao Cup holders Manchester City put nine past Burton at the Etihad
Pep Guardiola's side 8-15 to retain trophy
Manchester City put on an awesome attacking display to thrash Sky Bet League One outfit Burton 9-0 in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final at the Etihad.
The League Cup holders will be able to rest as many stars as they want for the return clash and Pep Guardiola's squad can already start to plan their trip to Wembley with City 8-15 shots to lift the trophy.
Gabriel Jesus scored four times, while Kevin De Bruyne, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Riyad Mahrez were also on target for the pre-match 1-20 favourites as City trumped their 7-0 FA Cup success over Rotherham on Sunday.
The 9-0 correct-score was as big as 80-1 but some bookmakers made it more likely than a triumph for 70-1 outsiders Burton and Hills reported 141 of their customers backed the outcome.
Tottenham are 3-1 to win the League Cup and Chelsea, who trail Spurs 1-0 after Wednesday's first leg, are available at 11-2.
