Match preview

Crystal Palace have won three Premier League this season, two of them in October, and their positive month can continue with a victory over Everton on Merseyside.

The Eagles were dealt a tough early-season schedule but they have taken advantage of some easier fixtures in recent weeks.

Patrick Vieira's side triumphed 2-1 at home to Wolves on Tuesday with their talisman Wilfried Zaha scoring the winning goal, and they are likely to fancy their chances against the Toffees, who have lost their last three matches and are hovering one point above the relegation zone.

Everton had hoped to avoid fighting another relegation battle but they are not scoring enough goals.

Frank Lampard's side have netted just eight times in the league and they registered only one shot when losing 1-0 at Newcastle on Wednesday.

They will play more on the front foot on home soil but there will be counter-attacking opportunities for Palace, who look the likelier winners.
