After the staying chasers served up a treat for viewers on Wednesday, on Thursday it is the turn of the three-mile hurdlers to dazzle.

Stayers' Hurdle winner Nichols Canyon goes for the Cheltenham-Punchestown double, but is challenged by the JP McManus pincer movement of Unowotimeanharry and Sutton Place, the latter trained by Gordon Elliott. Lil Rockerfeller is also out to avenge his Cheltenham defeat.

Thursday's other Grade 1 is the Ryanair Novice Chase. McManus again holds a strong hand, notably with Great Field who has not been long with Willie Mullins.

There is also the La Touche Cup, in which last year's runner-up Cantlow is odds on to go one better in a field of eight. He is yet another leading Punchestown hope for JP McManus on Thursday.
