Progressive Pride continues the legacy of owner-breeder Paver

Kinloch Pride is doing a fine job of maintaining the legacy of her late owner-breeder Catherine Paver, the founder of Pavers Shoes who died in February aged 88, and the five-year-old made it three wins from her last four starts in the opening 5f handicap.

The Noel Wilson-trained mare is now owned by Paver's son Graham, who said: "She was my mother's horse, she passed away in February and I inherited her, and I think my mother's still riding her. She was a very keen owner my mother and a good friend of Noel's.

"The family business is sponsoring a race at York on Macmillan day (June 17) and there's a race there that she's aimed at."
