Julie Camacho celebrates first Group success with Judicial's winning Charge
If there is a racing division that the north can rightly claim to compete with the rich and loaded southern stables it is the sprinting world, especially when it comes to the Nunthorpe at York.
That Group 1 next month is firmly on the agenda for Judicial, after the six-year-old provided his trainer Julie Camacho with her first Group-race winner in Britain with success in the Group 3 Coral Charge.
There is a touch of the Borderlescott and Mecca’s Angel, two dual northern winners of the Nunthorpe, about the rise and rise of Judicial, who has progressed from a rating of 90 two years ago.
