Malcolm Jefferson has a lovely crop of novice chasers, headed by Cloudy Dream, and Waiting Patiently confirmed himself another exciting prospect when making it two from two over fences in the 2m½f novice chase.

The odds-on favourite travelled smoothly under Brian Hughes and skipped over the last two fences in fine style before finding enough to repel the challenge of Forest Bihan.
