Love is going to prove a tough nut to crack in the Investec Oaks, but the thrillingly less-exposed Frankly Darling set up a mouthwatering clash by posting a deeply impressive Ribblesdale Stakes success.

While Love took time to assert her superiority in the 1,000 Guineas before powering away in the closing stages, Frankly Darling's push-button acceleration was key to her Royal Ascot success.

And considering how hard she pulled in the opening two furlongs, the daughter of Frankel is undoubtedly value for much more than her length-and-three-quarter victory margin over Ennistymon.
