Three horses to keep an eye out for at Chelmsford tonight
Chelmsford (5.45, ATR) keeps racing going into the evening under the floodlights on the Polytrack and Silvestre de Sousa completes his double shift with five rides to go with five at Lingfield in the afternoon. Here are three interesting runners to keep an eye on.
Marchingontogether(6.40 Chelmsford)
This Leicester maiden winner in early May has not been seen since she was bought by Qatar Racing and ran in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot.
She was far from disgraced in finishing midfield, surrounded by some subsequently good performers including recent winner in Turkey Another Batt, who was a couple of lengths in front of her.
Calm Charm(8.10 Chelmsford)
A big market drifter through the day, this half-sister to connections' useful filly Mix And Mingle catches the eye on her breeding in what looks a modest three-year-old fillies' maiden.
She also got an interesting close-up from the Racing Post race-reader, who wrote: "In rear-division, shaken up well over 1f out, kept on nicely entering final furlong under hands and heels, likely improver."
Tasaaboq(9.10 Chelmsford)
Nicola Currie has made a name for herself in the apprentice ranks this year, hitting the headlines for her partnership with the John Berry-trained Kryptos (three from three).
She teamed up with Tasaaboq at Wolverhampton on Saturday and hit it off with the Phil McEntee-trained sprinter, finishing strongly over 5f. Back up a furlong to his winning trip, Tasaaboq, who had previously only won for Josephine Gordon, has attracted plenty of morning support.
