It would, knowing him, be the understated way he would have always wanted to be immortalised. An empty grandstand; an eerie silence; an epitome of the most extraordinary ordinary horse we have ever known. No fuss or fanfare, just another normal day in Al Boum Photo's very own understated universe.
"When you see him in a field he’s unremarkable," says Willie Mullins of his history-seeking superstar. "You would never pick him out of a crowd or anything like that. He doesn't stand out. He’s always looking over a hedge to see what’s going on but when amongst the horses he's just Ordinary Joe."
Well, Willie, it turns out he's about as ordinary as Joe Wicks is at exercising.
