You would have thought after the crescendo of the Grand National following three days at Aintree, race planners might have made today relaxing with just one or two meetings.

No chance of that with five meetings and four of them over jumps including two in Ireland, where the National hero Tiger Roll makes a triumphant return to meet his fans in the village of Summerhill near Gordon Elliott's stables in County Meath at 2pm.

Winning jockey Davy Russell has more pressing matters with five rides at Tramore, including two for the National team of Giggingstown and Gordon Elliott.
