1.20 Lingfield
Winter Million Novices' Hurdle, 2m7f

Three-time Irish point-to-point winner Ballygrifincottage seeks to return to winning ways after finishing third in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in December for trainer Dan Skelton. He takes on Fameaftertheglory and Danilo D'Airy, who is on the hunt for his fourth win in a row.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: Ballygrifincottage

Triple Irish point winner; very promising third in Grade 2 hurdle on rules debut

Cazoo Novices' Chase, 2m

Well beaten by Edwardstone in Grade 1 company at Sandown last month, War Lord is the highest rated in this five-runner contest which features Noel Novices' Chase runner-up Faivoir and fellow Henry VIII runner Il Ridoto, who will be aiming to put a disappointing performance at Sandown behind him.

3.15 Thurles
Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase, Grade 2, 2m4½f

Allaho won this contest en route to Ryanair success at the Cheltenham Festival last year and Willie Mullins will be hoping to chart a similar path this time against three rivals, including Fakir D'Oudairies, who was fourth behind Allaho in December's John Durken Chase. Gigginstown Stud runners Notebook and Battleoverdoyen round out the field.
