ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the nine races on ITV4 on Saturday
1.18 Warwick
Alder Demain & Akers PMS Oxford Edward Courage Cup Handicap Chase, 2m
Four go to post to kick off the the ITV4 coverage, with last year's winner Sky Pirate tasked with giving 20lb or more to all rivals. It is unlikely to be an easy task with Brave Seasca and Not Available both seeking a third consecutive win.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: BRAVE SEASCA
Easy wins the last twice and this unexposed 7yo could still be ahead of his mark
1.32 Kempton
Coral "Fail-To-Finish" Free Bets Handicap Chase, 2m4½f
A £21,400 handicap starts Kempton's ITV offering with last-time-out winners Champagne Court and Kap Auteuil likely to be popular with punters. Both Fanzio and Foxboro were not far away last time either.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: CHAMPAGNE COURT
Competitive over hurdles this season and has a good shout on chase form two seasons back
1.50 Warwick
Wigley Group Hampton Novices' Chase (Grade 2), 3m
Threeunderthrufive has progressed gradually with each start over fences and may need to do so again to give his Grade 2 penalty away to four rivals, headed by Haydock winner Mint Condition.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE
Easy win in three-runner Grade 2 at Doncaster latest; leading claims despite 5lb penalty
Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase (Grade 2), 2m4½f
A select but classy field of four for this Grade 2. Nicky Henderson will hope for better things from Mister Fisher, who was pulled up in the King George. Rouge Vif is interesting as he steps up in trip on just his second start for Paul Nicholls. Defi Du Seuil and Eldorado Allen will have their supporters too.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: ELDORADO ALLEN
Won the Haldon Gold Cup on reappearance then ran creditably in the Peterborough Chase
2.25 Warwick
Ballymore Leamington Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2), 2m5f
Ballymore winners The New One and Willoughby Court emerged from this race, although this year's field is not certain to carry the same star power. Surrey Quest was a comfortable winner at Doncaster and heads the bookmaker lists, but Party Business was going well enough in the Challow Hurdle before falling and cannot be easily dismissed. Stag Horn and Viva Lavilla are others to consider.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: PARTY BUSINESS
Ascot winner who was running well in the Grade 1 Challow when falling two out; big player
2.40 Kempton
Coral Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle (Listed), 2m5f
The best betting heat of the afternoon as a maximum field of 20 go to post. Marie's Rock impressed over course and distance on Boxing Day and might cope off 9lb higher, but novices Gelino Bello, Cobblers Dream and Earth Lord and veteran Ch'tibello head a long list of dangers.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MARIE'S ROCK
Useful mare who recorded an emphatic success over C&D on Boxing Day; respected
Agetur UK Ltd Classic Handicap Chase (Grade 3), 3m5f
Lucinda Russell landed this race in 2017 with One For Arthur before winning the Grand National and has a fascinating contender again in Corach Rambler. Notachance is back on the same mark as for his win 12 months ago, while Gericault Roque is unexposed at these extreme stamina tests.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: CORACH RAMBLER
Thriving novice for whom stamina is strong suit; appealing claims for One For Arthur yard
3.15 Kempton
Coral Committed To Safer Gambling Handicap Chase, 3m
Christian Williams is well represented with Kitty's Light and Strictlyadancer and employs smart conditionals Jack Tudor and Ellis Collier for the rides. Consistent course winner Smarty Wild and Caribean Boy could also figure.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: KITTY'S LIGHT
Progressive young stayer; will go close, at the least, if able to bring stamina into play
3.35 Warwick
Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle, 3m1f
Seven runners but a strong qualifier with 2020 Pertemps Final winner Sire Du Berlais heading the weights off 158. Owner JP McManus has another strong contender in Sporting John, while Riggs, Alaphilippe and Third Win add extra intrigue.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: ALAPHILIPPE
Won Grade 2 Haydock novice (3m, soft) last February; no shock if he resumes in same vein
