Anyone who fears the Dublin Racing Festival will overshadow the action on a wet weekend in Britain has not been paying attention these last three years.

For all the Grade 1 action at Leopardstown on Saturday, there have been plenty of headline-grabbers on the other side of the Irish Sea on this day, with dual Champion Hurdle winner Buveur D'Air and brilliantly speedy sprinter Kachy both scoring in 2018 and 2019.
