Hoping for the best Christmas present of all with Politologue
I've never made any secret of the fact that Politologue and Ballyandy are two of my favourite horses – we've had some great times together over the last few years – so it's obviously nice to be going to Kempton on Boxing Day to ride both of them.
The 32Red King George VI Chase (3.05) is always a race to savour, and I'm thrilled to have been given the chance to retain my partnership with Politologue.
I hope it's stayed dry at Kempton in the run-up to Wednesday – not because Politologue doesn't act on soft ground, but because I wouldn't want it to turn into a slog with him being untested over three miles.
