I can’t believe it’s the end of the season already and this is my final column before handing over to Richard Hughes for the summer. Time really does fly when you’re having fun.

Hopefully I can go out with a winner at Sandown where my five rides are headed by Blaklion in the bet365 Gold Cup (3.35).

What happened in the Grand National is now history. We’ve all moved on, and Blaklion is running because he seems in really good shape.
