Cheltenham is over for another year, but there are still some valuable prizes up for grabs on Saturday and I’m full of hope that Arthur’s Gift can land the Marston’s 61 Deep Midlands Grand National (3.35) at Uttoxeter.

He’s a really good ride to have in such a valuable race. He won nicely at Carlisle last time off an 8lb lower mark and we believe the big step up in trip can enable him to overcome that rise in the handicap.

I think he’ll be fine over this marathon distance. He has a great way of racing and is a neat, accurate jumper.
